This year for Financial Inclusion Week, BRAC USA published a case study with the World Bank's Global Delivery Initiative highlighting lessons learned in West Africa after the Ebola outbreak. It specifically looks at how microfinance institutions can build resilience, of both their companies, and their clients. We were also excited to share that BRAC Uganda is transforming into a bank, seeking status under Ugandan regulations as a deposit-taking credit institution. This transformation will enable BRAC to provide new savings products to 200,000 clients. This week, CFI is publishing a blog about this process.
